Resolved: Worthless and dishonest service contract.

Updated by user Jul 05, 2017

Climbed the ladder and got issue resolved thanks showcase.

Original review Jul 05, 2017
Bought brand new 2016 CRV with service agreement at Headquarters Honda in Clermont, FL. Moved to AZ have not even got first oil change and went to recieve one at Showcase Honda in Phoenix. They will not honor a Honda service agreement. Honda has really let me down A $33,000 car that has a worthless service agreement. Have been dealing with exceptional Honda service for years but will never buy another one nor will my family.

Duplicitous/SHADY!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Took 2012 Accord in for oil change. With the paperwork re oil change was a list of items that had the word "caution:" Air filter - had air filter changed last time my oil was changed. Tires - said my tires were over 5 years old. My tires are 4 WEEKS old. Power steering - replace rack and pinion. It's leaking. Ive never had any leaks =- my garage floor is clean. Bottom line - I called to speak to supervisor to get to bottom of issues. Instead - Michael - the service tech called and explained to me that I wasn't reading the report correctly and those were items recommended from the last service; he would send me a revised report via fax. I wonder how many people have also not read their form "correctly." Seems duplicitous at the very least. As of the time of this review - no call from Supervisor. Surprise : (

RIP OFF

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I went to Show Case Honda and purchased a used 2012 Honda Accord. The purchase price they offered on their website 15,800. They change the price to 17,800 to include alarm system, gloss coating on the car. I told them to take it off and the sale person said I need to speak with finance department . I went to the finance department and the guy would not take it off and was pressuring me to purchase the warranty. He was pissed off when I said no. He would change the numbers and hide the real price that I was paying for the car. He never gave me my contract papers. He said he would mail it. As of today, I never received the papers and I have left messages and no call back

Showcase Honda Staff Review

I went their awhile back ago , just to look around looking for something a little bigger then what i had , needed something cheap since im a single mother of 2 ,wasnt going to buy yet. I was approached by nicky she was nice at first but after awhile seemed annoyed at the questions i would ask , and by her tone she sounded angry and she looked angry as well , so we went inside and she just disappears , so i look for her and find her chatting away with a coworker, and behaving unappropriate at work in my eyes , so i let them be minutes later she comes back and i told her im just going to look somewhere else she was stunned, so i left took my buisness somewhere else ,people like that should not be working at dealerships, gives the company a bad name , no help at all , rude , they make you feel like your not worth theyre time ! Never going back !!!!!!

Beware Showcase Honda in Phoenix

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Went to Showcase Honda to lease a new Honda Pilot. I was clear about the terms I was seeking before setting down. Had a credit score of 777 with Equifax. Finally, went to sign the final document, and they built in a 7% interest factor in the lease that was hidden. It was not disclosed but built into the payment. I asked them about it and they finally admitted. I withdrew from the loan as a result and they sent me a credit denial lowering my Equifax score by 30 points. It will eventually come back, but they are crooks and scammers. Don't trust Showcase Honda in Phoenix. Beware.

Do Not Buy Parts from Showcase

I have NEVER given a company a bad or negative review in all of these years of internet purchases. It is just not my personality type. I have enjoyed, however, the guidance of a multitude of other reviewer's efforts over the years to shy away from problem performances, and so this one has made me so mad that I signed up for Google and Google Plus just to make this problem known. I ordered a simple replacement side mirror plastic cover from Showcase Honda, but for my exact model, year, transmission and every other identifiable quality, there were two possible part numbers. So, I ordered one, thinking that the return, if wrong, would surely be worth the return shipping costs. Well, I chose the wrong part. The tabs were simply not in the right place. I could tell immediately and did not even try to install the part. Here is where the problem begins. I called Showcase and left a message for the "Parts" Department. No answer. I tried again a few days later. No response. I emailed Showcase, and I called directly yet again. No luck at all. I am persistent, so I called one more time to the main number, not the Parts Department, and spoke to a very personable receptionist and explained my problem, my order number, and the total lack of response. I thought this would do it, because she said she would make sure the Parts Manager was informed and that I could await a response. Can you believe it? Absolutely NO RESPONSE. I simply wanted to send the one part back, at my expense, and try the other part number (which fit exactly, by the way, from another parts dealer). So, be fairly warned. There is absolutely no way to deal with these people in any kind of civilized, communicative way. I am very forgiving by nature, so when I thought the first few attempts were misplaced, I tried again and again but without any smidgen of satisfaction. As I type this, I am looking at the nicely packaged but wrong part which I guess I will just have to throw away. Unfortunately, this reflects on the upper management as well, and as a business owner, I heartily receive these (very rare) comments about my own business so that we can always move forward. Don't order online parts from Showcase as there is absolutely NO customer service to back it up. It is well worth an extra couple of dollars to go with a reputable supplier.

CASH BUYERS BEWARE

Please don’t let them do you like they did me. I bought a car Saturday afternoon from show case Honda…The car is used but I was promised it was in good running order. I left the parking lot and drove home, not even 20 miles; the transmission light came on. I took the car back to them to look at it and was informed I need to spend 500 to fix the issue and after 100000 mile a transmission mount. I am a young lady, working hard to support myself, they took advantage of me, I want to return this car and get my money back; they are throwing up road blocks.i left the car there and wasted 5300 what made it even bad was Arnold said i could do a trade in after i get it fix but i only can get 5000 for it ! W.T.F seriously...... and i had it only for a day..... Please, Please, Don’t let them do you as wrong as they have done me.

Failed to notify buyer that vechile had been in an accident

when i purchased my t bird from showcase honda i asked if thevechile had been in any accidents. like a dummy i failed to ask for car fax and believed the salesman ... when i went to sell the vechicle at another dealrship today i found out the vechile had been in accident and that fender had been replaced and that frame clamps had been used .. this lowered the resale value by several thousands. i will not recommend thhis dealer to anyone , and will warn away anyone who asks me about them. overall the dealership treatd me like *** from the beginning and would not cancel the deal when i tried to cancel the transaction within less than 24 hours... now they advertise the fact that ou can change your mind within a certain period of time .

Saling Extended Warranty Falsely Advertized

I purchased a new car from Showcase Honda in Nov-2007. I also purchased an Extended Warranty under one condition that my Tires be covered for regular wear and tear under this warranty. I paid 2200 dollars for this coverage. After driving my car for two-and-half years, I recently visited Showcase Honda Service to change my tires using Extended Warranty coverage. I found out that Extended Warranty does not cover regular wear and tear on my Honda CR-V tires. The sales person who sold me The Extended Warranty coverage falsely advertised tire coverage. I plan to take a legal action against ShowCase Honda. Please buyers beaware of this SCAM???????????????

Honda hidden finance charge

In reviewing my new car sales contract, I was surprised to notice a "documentation fee" of $390 payable to the dealership--Showcase Honda of Phoenix, Az. Of course, I should have looked over the contract more carefully, but the hour was late, I was worn down, and the salespeople seemed reasonably straightforward and honest. But still, my naiveté shouldn't excuse the dealership's basic dishonesty and shabby business practices. I am well aware of this little scam in home loans, but I didn't think it had infected car loans at "reputable" dealerships. I heard somewhere that a sale is never complete until the customer returns for a second purchase. Well, the good Honda people can rest assured that I'll never darken their doorstep again! Buyer beware . . .

Extremely bad, tricky finance department in Showcase Honda on Camelback (Robert is the worst). If there were zero rating, I would choose that one.

DO NOT GO THERE TO PURCHASE YOUR CAR!!!! Very unfriend, stressful experience.

Guest

Everyone is dishonest and just wants to rip you off. The people who ran around and helped you just shouldn't get paid for the work they did, and the people who do the paper work should especially not be paid because they don't work either!

If you are buying a car, and important purchase, that costs 20,000 dollars you shouldn't have to think about anything for yourself.

No, eveything should be done for you because you are spoiled and ungrateful. You reap what you sow.

I am still fighting with Showcase Honda. When I went to financing, the contract was written, signed, and then get stuck in the printer.

When I left, I noticed that the contract that I resigned, was increased by 50 bucks.

I am going back down there today to re-sign and hopefully get what I was supposed to get. The sales people ar e nice, watch out for Chris in financing.

:cry Don't be so *** all dealers have DOC. fees

"I was worn down, and the salespeople seemed reasonably straightforward and honest. " That's what gets people in financial trouble. They are in business to make money--not help you.
